To me personally I will tip that guy although its his job to delivered the flower but it will make his day that someone appreciate him for delivering the flower. But its up to the individual.
u buy them flowers
Tipping not necessary, as they fit NONE of the criteria of, say, pizza delivery. They use the company van. They don’t do this as a full time job, but also do other work in the florist shop. They get paid AT LEAST minimum wage, and often more. Sometimes it is even the owner that does delivery, to get out of the shop and drive around a while.
I see no reason to tip them (although I have, but that was flirting).
Servers get paid less than minimum wage, and that is what got all this tipping nonsense going in the first place. Not everyone deserves, needs, or expects a tip…………until you start tipping them.
The person receiving the flowers did not request them. He/She did not order the flowers, nor did he/she request delivery of them.
So, they are not obligated to tip for something that they did not ask for.
If anyone should tip the flower deliverer, it should be the person who orders the flowers. Perhaps he/she could request that a few bucks be added to the credit-card charge.

I agree with Jennifer on this one. If you were having flowers delivered you would not have money ready for a tip. I rarely have any cash on hand…
Most time the flowers are delivered without your knowledge that they are for you so I’d say no tip required.
